Tea-light Gift Box

I always give the candle to someone at christmas but I wanted to make different box to but them in, so when on pintrest I saw a couple of 4 tier box so here is my take on them.It is a lot easier to make that it might look.

fullsizeoutput_21eaYou will need 3 pieces of card stock cut to 8 1/4 x 8 1/4″.

Scored at 2 3/8″ and 5 7/8″ turn and score at 2 3/8″ and 5 7/8″IMG_0579

Cut and notch to look like the picture.IMG_0580

Add tape and make up you boxes.IMG_0581

You will need 2 pieces  of card stock

Cut the 1st piece to 11 5/8″ x 7 3/8″.

Score the 7 3/8″ piece at 3/4″, 4 1/2″ and 8″

Cut the 2nd piece to 7 1/4″ x 7 3/8″

score on the 7 1/4″ die at 3 5/8″

Add tape to the 3/4′ seam and tape the 2 pieces together.

Now add your boxes starting at the bottom tape /glueing the 1st on the 2 panel , 2nd box on the 3 panel , 3 on the 4 panel making sure they are on top of each other when the box is closed.IMG_0585IMG_0589

Cut a 6 3/4″ x 6 3/4″ square and score at 1 3/8″ and 5 1/4″ on both sides.IMG_0590Cut and wedge your box lid.IMG_0591

4 green panels in 3 5/8″ x 1 1/4′

1 green 3 5/8″ x 3 5/8″

4 green 3 5/8″ x 7 1/8″

4 DSP 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″

4 DSP 3 1/4″ x 7″

Mat and layer the panels

Snow is Glistening Luminaire

Snow is Glistening stamp set is only available  for 1st November – 30th November it is a stunning set of stamp,to see the full arrange of product please visit my shop.I got the idea for this project from  i have change the stamp set used and the size as well.for my  you will need.fullsizeoutput_2175

  1. Sheet of Vellum cut to 10 1/4″ x 7 1/4′
  2. Score the 10 1/4″ side at 2 1/2″ , 5″, 7 1/2″ and 10″
  3. Score the 7 1/4″ side at 2 1/2″ fullsizeoutput_215c
  4. Stamp your snowflake tree in versa mark and heat emboss in silver
  5. cut and brunish the score line.fullsizeoutput_215f
  6. Add tape to the side and bottom (I like red liner tape worked well and you could not see it to much)
  7. fullsizeoutput_2165 Cut a square of silver card to 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4′ add tape or glue to the bottom of this and place it in your Luminaire .fullsizeoutput_2168
  8.  Cut a sheet of Sliver foil card down to 10 1/4″ x 4″fullsizeoutput_2149
  9. Score the 10/1/4″ side at 2 1/2″, 5″, 7 1/2″and 10″
  10. Score the  4″ side at 2 1/2″.

  12. Cut and Burnish the score line to look like the photo no 11
  13. Fold you sliver card over and place in to the punch as in the photo below.

  16. Add tape to the top of your stand and place your vellume Luminaire on to it and press down.

To make your bag you need a sheet of A4 cardstock cut the lenght down to 11″

Place the  11″ side in to the gift bag punch board line up the card stock with the start line and punch then score the horizontal line the side 2 line and the triangle lines and the 1st side line this will make a side panle.

more the card left until the 2nd sore line is lined up start line and score the horizontal line and the M score line and punch. then move the M score line to the stat line and repeat the last the 1st step and the 2nd step.IMG_0758

your card stock should look like this now.IMG_0759

Place your bag in your trimmer and line up the base with the 5″ mark and move the blade down to the 1st side mark then cut down to the bottom of your bag.

Notch the top and bottom side tap your bag should look like this.IMG_0761

Place your bag back in your trimmer we are now cutting the flap down to 1 1/2″IMG_0762fullsizeoutput_224a

Round the flap with a punch.IMG_0765

Stamp your sentiment  on to your flap.IMG_0766

Add your snowflake stamp on the right hand side of your bag.fullsizeoutput_2249you will need a 2″ x 3″ silver card stock and 1 1/2″ x 3″ add this to the front ,add tape to the side flap and bottom ,I also used veco to hold the flap down.

Tall Faceted Gift Box

A couple of weeks ago I made a small Faceted Box  with my craft group they love it and asked if they could make a taller one so this is what I came up with You can find the original  Faceted Gift Box Here

You will need a 12″x12″ sheet of cardstock 10 1/4″ x 10 1/4″

Score at 2 1/2″, 5″, 7 1/2″ and 10″ turn and

Score at 2 1/2″, 3 3/4″, 5″, 6 1/4″ 7 1/2″, and 10″

Score the diagonal score lines as in the picture at the bottom of this post.

I add a background with a small background stamp .

Stamp in versamark and clear embossing podwer.IMG_0781

Fold and burnish all score lines.

Add tape to the side seam.

First Frost

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday, for a 1st time this Autumn it feels like Autumn here in the north-east its a lot colder here but it’s still nice and sunny.

Todays card i have used the First Frost Bundle this set is just so lovely perfect for this time of year.

I made the background by stamping the leaf stamp with versamark ink and heat embossing it in white then went over that with a foam roller in  Soft sea foam ink.

I used Soft sea foam, Crumb cake and Highland Heather for the flowers I also die cut some vellume leaves I add wink of stella to the vellum and the Roses.
