Spring roses

It’s spring so it must be wedding seasons I think climbing rose is perfect for a wedding card or a birthday, have teamed it up with petal pink, which is a very pretty peach colour. I choose to colour the stamped image with the watercolour pencil to give it a soft look,fullsizeoutput_2572fullsizeoutput_2575

Climbing Rose

I saw a card on Pinterest where they cut down our hardwood background stamp to make a fence so here is my take on it.

I start stamped the background stamp then cut it in to 5 strips.

I stamped the little background stamp from waterfront then add my strips to make a fence the nail heads are made from the Bitty Blooms punches.

I then stamped and coloured the climbing rose and cut it out with the die but then cut into it as I wanted to fence to pop out from behind add a couple of mat and layers before adding to a card bace.
